Cleveland Indians ceramic statue of "Chief Wahoo, " the Indians' mascot. This version features a gold tooth, which is supposedly rarer. Don't know if that's true. But, as noted above I examined it carefully and cannot tell if a there is a hairline crack in the feather or if that's the result of how the paint was applied when it was made. I want to be totally clear about the condition; even added a close-up.
I've owned this for many years and whether or not there was a crack there never concerned me. It's a great item from the 1948 Indians season, when they played the Boston Braves in the World Series and won. The item "Cleveland Indians Chief Wahoo ceramic statue circa 1948" is in sale since Thursday, December 29, 2016.
