Green Bay Packers Kissing Pairs NFL/AFL/Bobbing Head/ Nodder/Bobble Head MINT

This listing is for a Green Bay Packers kissing couple, NFL/AFL man and a woman, Bobbing Head/Nodders. They are of course, the football player and cheerleader set combination. They have magnets in the mouth and cheeks and will kiss if you let them get close enough.

You can't let them get close enough. They will crack each others faces. You must always keep them separated.

I had an Eagles cheerleader and football player when I was a child that my Mother bought for me from my Ephrata Children's Shop. I kept them hidden in the back of my little showcase.

I'm not sure why I was ashamed of them? I've often thought about that. But then he was broken by our cleaning lady? I don't know why or how but his head was cracked in two? I threw him away and that poor cheerleader lost her soulmate.

I thought she'd be happy but they DO NOT get along whatsoever? Anyway, this Packers couple is rare apparently? In most all of the NFL/AFL kissing couples, the male football players have their eyes closed, as if to relish or savor the moment when the cheerleader, with her eyes open, lays that special gift of a kiss, on their man.

But, there are a few football players that are indifferent to this pattern. The Cleveland Brown, an elf apparently, with pointed ears has his eyes wide open, and the Pittsburgh Steeler, a steel worker with a helmet on, and appearing to look stupid, also has his eyes wide open. But then comes the Packers. They come in 2 different types.

The first being the normal football player, eyes closed, and cheerleader, eyes open and then they have the second option. This couple is completely unique from all the others, and as far as I know, makes them the only couple to have a variation. All price guides cast them as RARE, TOUGH, HARD TO FINE, IN DESIRE, AND EXTREMLELY MORE SOUGHT AFTER AND VALUABLE. I found this couple recently, and had never ever seen the football player before or since. His eyes are wide open and one guide calls him " Boys Eyes Open Variation" and the cheerleader has her eyes CLOSED?

I do believe that this makes her the ONLY cheerleader with her eyes closed. Very interesting that they would create a mold and then only use it once?

They are MINT, they have had no work or restorations done to them, they are expensive and you may never run across this couple again. They may never sell for us either, but I was fascinated and simply had to have them. It simply states that is it more rare, more valuable and more sought out. But this is my collection and my hobby so it's just me having fun. I guarantee them to have no cracks, no flaws, no breaks of any kind and they've been subjected to my black light test, my flash test, my magnifying glass etc. They were made in the early 60s, 1962 actually, and this matching set is really as good as it gets. I guarantee them to have never been restored, repainted or refurbished and 100% completely original. The DENVER SUPPLY Company was founded in 1915 and we always strive to be friendly, fair and trustworthy. Thank you again for watching and please make the DENVER SUPPLY one of your favorite vendors so you can readily and frequently drop by. One final thought, I guarantee and promise satisfaction with each and every item that w. This is a very expensive hobby but fun nonetheless. I have 14 nodders from when I was a child. Back then they were only a buck or two and my Mother would allow me to pick one out every time we went to the Ephrata Children's Boy Store for school clothing. They had an entire wall of them. How many times I've thought about those days. I would love to simply know now what all they had? I took painstaking care of these little guys even then. I even hid this fact from my friends for fear of them making fun of me for playing with dolls and I loved them then, just as much as I do today.

I gently stuffed newspaper in their heads because even then, I was indeed smarter then the average bear, and he's actually quite intelligent, so they say. I did however, carefully write the number 43 on the back of one of my several Phillie bobbin heads. He is still lovingly known today as the "Wes Covington" edition, and he's quite limited, I'll have you know.

So each and everyone of these guys turned out negative on my black light test. They look beautiful, as advertised, but when subjected to your little black light test, BOOM, there it is.

Without the aid of that black light, I couldn't tell which of my Black Faced Phillies had been restored. They are both beautiful, and shiney, and mint, and have vibrant colors. But when the black light hits it, there are your spots of color that someone painted on. You may certainly fix them up, paint them up, cover up a nick, scratch, pin hole, whatever, to your own choosing and preference. Feel free to do whatever you like. But the problem now lies, if and when you should decide to sell them. Because now you have an obligation to at least share this. Maybe half price after they've been restored?

But if they had flaws to start with, that's about what they would've brought on the market anyway. I don't mind owning and displaying mint nodders in my personal collection that have been professionally restored. Don't mind it one little bit. But it's far easier for me to sell the mint ones that have NEVER been restored. Yes they're very expensive, I don't deny that.

But what I have is MINT and I when I tell you that it's mint, you'll know that it is for sure. I'll also let you know when I'm listing one that's been restored or repainted. Regardless, get yourself a black light please, you'll be an expert in no time and you'll be glad that you did.

I would never ever be without mine again. They even sell blacklight flashlights.

If you're a nodder collector, this is an absolute must for your own satisfaction as well as protection. It's simply too easy. I try to list several items each and everyday so please keep stopping by and checking in.

I have hundreds and hundreds to sell. If there's something in particular that you're looking for, please write me and if I have it, we'll talk or I can list if for you. I have a ton to sell.
